Responsibilities:

Purpose of Job: Run standard analysis in SAP and Excel of regional figures and communication of the same to the regional team. Prepare market reports via download, analyse and identify trends, root cause and areas for improvements.
Responsibilities
Essential Function 1:
  • Ensure accurate Master Data in reporting systems
  • Running of SAP and Excel reports to support the Regional Marketing and the LBLs
  • Conduct continuous insights gathering on market and competitors through structured as well as ad/hoc analysis
  • Works in collaboration with segments to research & translate insights into opportunities
  • Major contributor into segment strategy development with market insights
  • Collects insights from all marketing and sales functions for projects as required
  • Support Segment Heads and PM project pipeline (including innovation projects)
Essential Function 2:
  • Disseminate information on data quality initiatives in the region
  • Ensure buy-in from relevant stake holders
  • Intensive communication and interaction within the regional and global departments
  • Develops & aligns a research strategy & methodology with global
  • Runs ad hoc opportunistic research to explore opportunities for quick wins
  • Runs secondary market research (e.g. expert interviews) where required and translates into reports
  • Develops & updates regional market trends, dynamics, competitors landscape, etc
Essential Function 3:
  • Work with global master data manager to find solutions to issues raised
  • Run and share KPI reports as well as feedback to regional stake holders
  • Apply/propose improvements for tools and methods to systematically identify and quantify market opportunities
  • Develops a systematic database of internal & external sources i.e. insights, interviews & reports
Essential Function 4:
  • Develop understanding of data needs and data quality issues with in a specific functional area
  • Contribute functional expertise to improvement of processes
  • Coach and encourage peers to work for better data quality
  • Supporting the various local units in the usage of SAP (TAR process) and a CRM system including TP tool
Essential Function 5:
  • Build awareness among data suppliers to motivate them to prioritize high data quality
  • Motivate the use of data elements for a strategic purpose
  • Serves as support to Segment Heads and PMs for projects in the marketing and innovation pipeline
  • Supports ad-hoc market intelligence projects in collaboration with marketing and segment managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree / University Degree Statistic or Relevant Degree in Business, Marketing or Analysis,
  • Min 5 years experience in Business, Marketing or Analysis area,
  • Experience & ability to create insights from data, tech savvy,
  • Detailed and systematic, Able to prioritize - discreet. A good communicator,
  • Experience and good knowledge of SAP system,
  • Competent in Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word) and knowledge of Access,
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal English,
  • Able and capable of working competently in all Clariant operations areas,
  • Military obligation for male candidates must have completed.
